Supreme Court Appoints First Female Special Master
On Tuesday, the U.S. Supreme Court appointed its first female special master. Kristin Linsley Myles of San Francisco, litigation partner in the firm Munger, Tolles & Olson and a former law clerk to Justice Antonin Scalia, was appointed special master in the case of South Carolina v. North Carolina, to examine a dispute between the two states over water from the Catawba River.
