Torture, Terror and Security:Theological Considerations for Tomorrow's Leaders
February 3-5, 2008, Columbia Seminary, Atlanta, GA
Calling all academically connected Presbyterians—faculty, students, chaplains—to join this conversation. Let's join together and share our best thinking about how to equip ourselves and others to be faithful in these times.
Brief presentations will catalyze our thoughts, worship will sustain us, and considerable time will be given to working with others doing this work from across the country.
Presenters include:
Hassan al Menyawi: International Law and Human Rights Professor at the United Nations University for Peace, and Head of the HIV/AIDS and Human Rights Project at the UN University. He is currently on leave serving as the Kemp Visiting Assistant Professor at Davidson College
Eric Fair: M.Div.student, Princeton Theological Seminary, former Army linguist, independent contract interrogator and National Security Agency Intelligence Analyst working in Baghdad, Fallujah and Abu Ghraib
