BABY SHOWER!

Sextuplets Born to New York Couple

as reported in the AP wire to Aol today....

A couple who already had one child got a nice BIG surprise:

Sextuplets, -- the second set ever born in New York City.

Four boys and two girls were born earlier this month to 31-year-old Digna Carpio and her 36-year-old husband, Victor, a maintenance worker with the city's Housing Authority.

Digna and Victor Carpio gave son Jhan Carlos, 7, four brothers and two sisters Oct. 6 when Digna gave birth to sextuplets. Justin, Danelia, Jezreel, Genesis, Joel and Jadon Carpio were born at 25 weeks and weighed 1 1/2 to 2 pounds each.

After some heart valvue surgeries babies are all fine- and Mom's comment

"Life is beautiful, and we're so thankful."

The sextuplets were born at Manhattan's Mount Sinai Medical Center, weighing 1 1/2 to 2 pounds each.

City Council member Tony Avella gets BIG applause- he started a collection for baby supplies.
GRAZIE TONY!
Anyone can donate to this wonderful family through Avella's city counsel office- I am sure they would be so happy to be blessed with your kids gently used left overs.
