PRE-INAUGURATION MASS NEXT SUNDAY-

Come to Washington, DC's main downtown CATHEDRAL, Saint Matthews for a Mass and Blessing on the Inauguration and New Administration this Sunday at 5:30 pm.
You are invited to gather with your parish community and friends to pray for our country and its elected officials at the 5:30pm Mass next Sunday, January 18, to be celebrated by the Archbishop Donald W. Wuerl.
A reception will be held immediately after the Mass in the North Conference Room.
All are welcome. That Means You.
On inauguration day there will be only one Mass in the Cathedral at Noon.

(images on top are of the mosaic from the Saint Anthony of Padua chapel; they depict scenes from the life of Saint Francis of Assissi in Assissi- probably one of the most beautiful mosaics in the country- worth going to the church just to pray there.)
