When I was working in Philadelphia I had a friend who just got married. She and her husband were saving up for a house in a nice suburb. They were living in a cramped one bedroom and didn't want to start a family until they got into their first house. Good Plan. But things don't always go as planned. She found herself pregnant.

Fantastic! You are pregnant--and married! Joy of Joys. God is Great.

She didn't view it that way. She viewed it as an inconvenience because she wasn't in her dream house yet-didn't have enough money saved. Didn't even like her job much.

So she aborted her first child.

I couldn't believe it. Totally shocking. Rather than trust that God could or would work out all the details of housing, she just felt overwhelmed. Tragic. Tragic that she didn't get the support she needed from anyone.

I don't feel sorry for her I fear for her soul and those who let her down. I think she just had her priorities whacked rather idolotrously and caved to a thousand fears that are the opposite of faith. It is this fearing for the soul of people like this that moves some to compassion in fighting against abortions that many regret.


There is a sense in which we as a culture have idolotrously hung on to the things that we think "save us" while shining on God- and flatly disobeying him. God sends you and your husband a child and you nuke it off. You just can't get away with shining on God for too long.

Herod, in his jealous rage attempted to kill the Holy Child by killing off all children under age 2 in Bethlehem. This is Herod's revenge.
Half of all abortions in this country are done on college aged young women. This means that they are killing off their first borns.

First Born has serious spiritual significance. Male First Borns were to be consecrated to the Lord in Jewish custom. There is a roll of the First Borns in heaven. They are sent first for a reason. Obama is a first born. I am a First Born. Ed Filardi is a First Born.

What we are witnessing in this country over the last 30 years in terms of a permissive culture for acceptable abortions is profoundly perverting and undermining the purposes of God. These people he is sending here, with unique DNA and unique mission and purpose and being are
sent back. It can't continue.

The Notre Dame invitation to Obama and the Bishopric uproar misses the point. It is indeed a "teachable moment"-Because the miseducation on this point over the last 30 years has passed as enlightenment.

If he gets an Honorary Degree it isn't for his abortion stand and they should make that clear.

The devil himself invented this deception. It's a cosmic battle of powers and principalities beyond governments. It a battle for the souls of women and to steal the lives of the First Borns.
