This Pope likes to mark 150th year anniversaries. We had Lourdes last year. This year is the year of Bernadette.
This Good Saint John Vianney is the Patron Saint of Parish Priests (at a time in France when they were not all together a la mode.) Time to study up on why ARS loved him and what he did for La France.

I recommend that Roland Celette- you call me and commission me to go explore the pilgrimmage phenomenon in France that has folks visiting places like Laus, Lourdes, Ars, places St. Francis de Sales lived, etc.
in the millions to write a book on it that you can distribute in America to rack up even more tourist dollars.

We can use part of the proceeds of this destined to be blockbuster book to clean La Madeleine
in Paris. Why is that building so filthy on the outside. It's a georgeous church but totally dirty outside. We know now how to clean old buildings and that poor girl has suffered all the city's exhaust and dirt for centuries. She needs a bath. (Ask how they cleaned up City Hall in Philadelphia in the middle of all that traffic circle and copy the method.)
