The Most Underestimated Conservative Come-Back Has a Point
The anti-competitive effects of Sarbanes Oxley should be given another look. The costs of start up to IPO are now cost prohibitive for many and this can't help generate jobs or faciliate small business growth. But repeal is a bit extreme. How about looking at cost containment another way: How about regulating better the accounting profession or starting non-profit accounting alternatives (public-private partnerships?) where a small business can go for affordable accounting to prepare financials for SEC filings- if the SEC requires it make the SEC partially pay for it.
