Prisoners as Political Pawns: Diplomacy, Prisoner Exchanges, and Hostage Negotiations
With so many political prisoners around the world, CSI is offering a glimpse at the harsh reality of prisoners exchanges and hostage negotiations. CSI will also present its own conflict resolution platform and current initiative titled Freedom Exchange. This initiative is now focused on Cuba, but will be extended to other regions in the future.

Nearest metro stops: Dupont Circle (Red line) and Farragut West (Blue and Orange line).
The Charles Sumner School is an 1872 National Register landmark and is part of the DC Public Schools and Archives. We are grateful for their generous hospitality for this event.
Cost:
The event is free with a minimum donation of $5 for those attending the reception. Press, speakers and CSI volunteers are not required to make a donation.
All proceeds will go toward event costs covered by CSI, a 501(C)(3) non-profit. Donations are tax deductible to the full extent permitted by law.
