Appollo Man on the Moon Program For Energy Independence?
Here is what we need to see. Seriously. Waiting, waiting, waiting....
A new commission on Energy Innovation. But not just a new commission-
a comprehensive program- grants in universities for cutting edge research, not just
subsidies to oil companies. Prizes in the millions offered for new technologies, brainstorming
scientists and bio-geeks, commissioned projects and programs, engineering student
tuition scholarships, etc.
How did we get a Man on the Moon and not know how to get ourselves off Fossil Fuels?
If I was President (don't tempt me buster) I would immediately announce the
O.F.F. Mission. - Off Fossil Fuel Mission. So in 10 years we will convert our energy needs away from Fossil Fuel completely without compromising our lifestyle.
OK. we will wean ourselves off at least half of it.
Now, get started! What are you waiting for!!
