Stuffing cooked inside the Turkey? Did you learn to cook in a barn? Cranberry out of a can? Are you mad woman? Pumpkin pie with cream cheese not condensed milk? Are you trying to poison us or just get us fat? Holiday can be a bit testy with personalities and peculiarities of family that get all together just a few special times a year. In case you didn't ask-yes, it's your turn to do all the dishes.
That reminds me of Mother Theresa's 'do it anyway' litany.
People will impute the greatest acts of love you gave with the most nefarious motives- do it anyway. They will feel like total jerks later. Then you can tell them how many karats you want.
