Here's another cool thing I discovered. Have you ever seen those "Magic Jack" commercials on TV? I decided to check it out at the encouragement of a friend. It works! Like MAGIC!
All you do is plug in the little device which is just a bit bigger than your USB thumb drive into your laptop and you can make FREE, totally FREE phone calls anywhere in the US. (I haven't tried international yet.) It's under $40. for the device, at Radio Shack, and once you have that plugged in, you get FREE phone calls anywhere in the US for a whole year which saves you a fortune on cell phone bills. I am telling everyone to get it.
Or- you can stick to your old rotary phone (one ringey dingey, two ringey dingey)- and pretend you are a monk in the middle ages. But then I will have to come plant you an herb garden outside the rectory so you can pick what you eat from your yard.
