WHAT DID YOU JUST CALL ME?
Here is one for the Christian Legal Society: http://www.clsnet.org/
Probably the most recent interesting development in the pro-life litigation arsenal is the use of Hate Crime legislation- because the people working at Planned Parenthood and abortion clinics across the country can't stand those rosary wielding pro-life prayerful demonstrators outside their door dissuading politely people from nuking-off their offspring.
Sometimes when people are praying in vigil outside these places the workers will actually come out and harass them, yell at them, taunt them, threaten them with calling the police and do all kinds of verbally hostile things. So demonstrators should bring not only rosaries and candles but cameras, and videorecorders. I know this to be true because it happened to me- and it appeared positively demonic.
Actually calling the police on someone for no legal valid basis is in many jurisdictions something called an ABUSE OF PROCESS which you can sue for and get money for the humiliation. Trying to criminalize people who are doing nothing wrong and worshipping their God as they see necessary is of course quite immoral and should offend everyone.
This case, reported today below, is significant because it holds accountable those making threats under relevant Hate Crime legislation. In the below case the guy was completely out of his mind- positively demonic.
Stickes and stones may not break bones, but they can get you sued big time.
