Miriam's Kitchen is the homeless ministry in Western Presbyterian Church (across from the State Department) which feeds daily hundreds of homeless people in DC. They make lots and lots of goodies for people who drag themselves in off the streets from sleeping in doorways, shelters and yes, down by the river.
