Moral and Morale.
What would your perspective be if you thought that the rapture was coming in May,2011?
Would you be whining about the elections or the stock market? Would you still hold back telling that person you have been meaning to talk to for ages something?
That is the question posed by a prophesy I heard on the radio (we don't know when He is coming back but are told to be tip toe ready just in case).
How would you live differently if you thought that Jesus was coming to take back everyone on his team to save them from the agony of a nuclear holocaust to come (or something equally cataclysmic?) Remember that "Rapture" book a while back that had everyone enraptured?
The concept is not mere fiction- but comes from John's book of Revelation in New Testament scripture. John was allowed to live the longest and not be martyred in his youth and was given Revelation of the 'end times', the signs of which we see everywhere according to some (global warming might be shorthand for the types of floods, earthquakes and natural disasters that were predicted).
Of course Jesus would want to raise up on the last day, and 'save' everyone on his team from something like the agony of a nuclear holocaust. He has power over all nature and can elevate anyone as Elijah was into the clouds, and tranform anyone into light into the next dimension just as Moses was transformed with him on the Mount (as the disciples, yawn, were so clueless as to be napping!) Who do you think invented holograms?.
The radio prophesy, from a guy who derived the math by counting 7,000 from the days of Noah's flood in which only a remnant of humanity was saved, with one day being as if a thousand years and a reference to a week adding up to seven thousand years....(citations a bit suspicious but it sounded convincing...) posed that question: What would you do if you thought that 2012 was really really going to be such a 'change' it would be the end of the world as we know it. As we now know it.
The End.
What's on your bucket list? Who do you really love such that you prefer they not be fried.
