Happy Veteran's Day

I read the Book of Judith yesterday. She proclaims that the Lord stops wars.
Her belief in that propelled her to do something daring to stop the imminent invasion by Holofernes and his troops- it's one of the most remarkable stories of a woman not taking orders from any man and getting orders directly from God to do the work of the Prince of Peace. She literally decapitates the head of the evil invaders.

Because I am a Christian living in America It made me wonder whether the wars would all stop if we simply caught Bin Laden-and further wonder why we have not.
Seems like if we can catch that Saddam Hussein in a hole in the ground in Iraq we ought to be able to find Bin Laden. If I were a Muslim living in Afghanistan I might read the Book of Judith, which is a book in what we call the "old testament"- which Muslim's read and recognize also as scripture- and it might inspire me to view as 'invaders' the Americans and give me another thought.

The Highest Priest, of American Christians and Muslims is that High Prince modeled after the High Priest Melchizadek of Salem- meaning Prince of Righteousness of and from Peace. Jeru- Salem means also Holy [Yehru] Place of Peace. Shalom and Salem are Peace in Hebrew and Arabic respectively. Salem. A Salem Alekem -is the Muslim 'peace be with you' greeting. Shalom is the Hebrew 'peace be with you' greeting. "Peace be with you" is what is said by Catholics in every Catholic Mass by the Priest- to which the entire congregation/parish responds "and also with you." A people of violence are a people who betray the heart and nature of the High Prince of Peace.

End the Wars. No More Excuses.
