And Other Divine Manifestations you never knew existed.
Remember Veronica of Biblical lore who wiped the sweating face of Jesus as he carried his cross to his earthly death (only to resurrect himself later?) What would you say if I said someone thinks that his visage image was actually then preserved, like a photographic sort of reflection on Veronica's cloth? Is it a renaissance painters fake trickery or actually the image of Jesus and how could we tell?
This is the question apparently asked by the author, Vatican reporter Paul Badde who is coming to DC to address inquiring minds who want to know at the Catholic Information Center in DC (Friday after the noon Mass) and at the Shrine bookstore.
You can ask him all those journalistic integrity questions yourself. Was Jesus electromagnetman leaving high resolution images of himself on anything he touched like the Shroud of Turin??
Did his power come with such energy intensity that he could- well, actually walk on water for instance, or with his mere spittle make mud that cured blindness (perhaps dissolving cataracts?) or could zap the life source into a man lame for so many years his legs likely atrophied? Would you expect such a powerful life source has such power that his image is emblazened on whatever it touched? Remember the woman cured of a long hemorrhage by merely touching the hem of his garment?
