It also might allow me to pick up your dirty socks if you casually toss them by the bed, or overlook your habit of tossing down one with the boys when you said you were on the way home, or paying too much for your mid-life melt-down Mercedes, or watch your ego try to suck up to the old dame client with a cougar fantasy and blue hair who keeps cornering you to look deep into your eyes with that 'come hither or I'll cancel my account' look.

If you are one to feel sorry for yourself--
stop your kvetching already. Stop your whining, stop your belly aching, stop counting your pay-backs and waiting until you get even, stop blaming everyone else, stop pounding your sorry chest in regret- just stop it all.
LOVE one another. Just LOVE. Then you won't have to keep saying why you don't have to say you are sorry.
