Neither Cheap Nor Easy

The Most Expensive Date You Will Ever Have.

Ever wonder who the face behind this blog actually is? Here is your chance to sit down and have dinner with the Editor, Washington attorney, Cynthia L. Butler, in----wait for it----the French Ambassador's residence with the French Ambassador to the US and his wife. It is a benefit fundraiser a Maison, the cultural arm of the French Embassy and French-American Cultural Foundation, a US 501(c)(3) nonprofit which supports French inspired arts in the US and puts on a plethora of free programs, concerts, lectures, kids
festivals and french movies in the US in collaboration with the Kennedy Center, the Smithsonian and other arts venues and ventures.
Their concerts have been hailed by the Washington Post as "some of the city's best concerts" and broadcast locally and nationally on WETA public radio and
Sirius/XMSatellite. They host and underwrite the EuroKids Festival, the largest children's performing arts festival in the US with over 200 free events for families and kids. They run a series of French movies at the National Gallery of Art and bring exhibits of photographers and painters to the US regularly.
La Maison, the cultural arm of the French Embassy is simply one of the most energetic arts promoting communities in the country and they constantly seek new partnerships and innovative ideas for promoting the funner finer aspects of French culture.

You can come to an exclusive event with the French Ambassador and his wife for a gourmet dinner like only the french can do at the Ambassador residence.
