Shout Out To My French Friends- Happy Bastille Day!

It's actually July 14, but the party at La Maison is on Saturday, July 11th. [It's like the French 4th of July]
You want to be there:
La Maison Française and the Comité Tricolore invite you to celebrate "Bastille Day at the Embassy of France," an evening of feasting, music and dance on Saturday, July 11 from 7:00 p.m. – 12:00 a.m!Take an imaginary trip to France as you visit different Parisian "arrondissements" (neighborhoods) throughout the evening. Cocktails and a silent auction will begin the festivities. You will have a chance to bid on restaurant and hotel vouchers, paintings and other pieces of art, as well as luxury items! In our cafés, chefs from the area's most prestigious kitchens (Café du Parc/ Willard InterContinental Washington, URBAN Bistrot/Sofitel, Ritz Carlton, La Ferme Restaurant, Bastille Restaurant, Ronald Reagan International Trade Center and Panorama Bakery) will offer mouth-watering creations.A luscious dessert service (Pâtisserie Poupon and Cacao Fine European Chocolate & Pastry) will follow and open bars will serve a variety of refreshing spirits and soft drinks. Throughout the evening enjoy French cancan music and dancing with singer Simone Marchand (outside under the tent) and accordionist Estelle Sauvain with pianist Angélique Sauvain (inside in the ballroom).
