Reality Behind the Veil

Your eyes saw my unformed body.
All the days ordained for me were written in your book
before one of them came to be.
Psalm 139:16

Wonder what motivates those persistent pro-lifers to get up at the crack of dawn to pray the rosary before abortion clinics and planned parenthoods across the country? Wonder what makes
them fight tooth, nail and blog against every piece of litigation that makes abortion easier and more acceptable? Wonder why they think Michael Steele is a spineless pretender with licked finger in the air feeling the breeze of popular opinion?

Those people have an understanding that what we see isn't all there is here. What we see
is just what of God's purposes we allow to manifest because they suit us----and what of God's purposes we thwart and nuke because we either don't understand them or don't think they are convenient.

Every soul conceived whose entire personhood is programmed into its DNA upon conception with its unique fingerprint is a unique irreplaceable shot of light from heaven with a Divine
purpose, a God given mission, a particularly unique contribution. And God's plans are for good, for a future and a hope, for all of us. There is a global repercussion to the easy abortion culture.

Every soul aborted is a spit in God's face, a faithless turning from his plan and mission, a destruction of what He wanted to piece together with each soul sent- because we let our will supercede and trump God's will--God who is the author of all life.

Imagine building a building and arbitrarily deciding to take out a few main supporting pillars or walls. Imagine building a building and taking out the window frames so there are no windows.
Imagine if Einstein, FDR, Lincoln, George Washington, Martin Luther King, Jr., Quincy Jones, and your favorite baseball player were all aborted. What would the world look like. Now imagine who of the 45 Million people we have aborted were. Who were they? Who were they supposed to be and do here. How is the world different?

What have they not built. What music are we not hearing?

This is what we do to our culture, our society, our country when we allow indiscriminate abortion and make it easy and acceptable. It is destined to cripple the country, morph the culture into something less than the glory God wanted to create on earth and renders it dysfunctional. (and we wonder why everything is in "melt-down" now with people crying "chicken little".)

And look at it on a global scale.

Now look at it on a personal individual scale.
Be honest now. Look at what it really does to women. Look hard. Look hard at how it callouses hearts to deem the nuking of one's offspring as a "procedure." What does that do to a heart (not to mention the plumbing which can be forever altered or destroyed.) Look at the emotional and spiritual consequences of choosing Not-Motherhood.

God can't allow spitting in his face with complete callousness to continue forever. He is hugely forgiving and deeply merciful and full of love and compassion, but he can't allow people to keep spitting in his face. The only "unforgiveable sin" is the "blasphemy against the Holy Spirit" and if this doesn't come close I don't know what that means.

There will be a reckoning sooner or later and it's a matter of time.

This is why those self-proclaimed Jesus freaks and God lovers stake their political reputations and careers on this basic truth. I know that sometimes it is hard to get past the viciously unloving heated rhetoric of those self-righteous strident over-the-top prideful nasty-witch condemnations of some pro-lifers (some of whom are out to make a career for themselves on their self-impressed moral superiority for lack of anything better to do than parade their own virtue shouting "lookie-me, lookie-me! I'm so much holier than you!! all day and the raging night of the blogosphere) but we have to get past it. Some people are their own worse enemies and we are all sick of them. But we have to hear the din for the noise- and understand the depth of the issue. We can't let our distaste for any whack-job in the pro-life movement distract us from what is really the issue, and what is really going on here in the country .

It should really be viewed as the most insidious form of exploitation. It should be viewed as an issue of the voiceless being denied a basic right. It should be viewed as the racist issue it is in terms of the numbers of aborted children. And it should be viewed as an issue of poverty and women cornered into self-mutilation.

God is the author of Life, and he said to "Choose Life" for a reason. He has a Plan. It is for a Future and a Hope.
